  3. Leonardo Franchini

    Dear Chuck,
I’m Leonardo, Italian published writer and playwright.
It seems – but I can also misuderstand, that you are of Italian origin, even if I haven’t found any Sambuchino family name in our registers.
Well, in any case, I need an agent in USA for my books, mainly thrillers.
If you could help me, I can try to propose your books toi Italian Publishers, where I have some good connections.
My books are already translated in English and Spanish. Any suggestion?

    Thanks a lot, ciao

  4. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your semimar in Las Vegas today. I asked the children’s picture book questions.

Your presentation was very informative and I feel a little more confidence going forward. You definately provided the proverbial ‘peek behind the curtain.’

    Thank you again.

  5. Francesca Gambula

    Hi Chuck,
I’m not sure if you are the person to contact with regard to my circumstance but I’m going to give it a try. A friend of mine gave me a copy of your Guide to Literary Agents recently. I read it and I was not able to find an agent that may be able to represent me. My circumstance is this, my son, who was killed two years ago in Los Angeles, wrote a book the year before he died. When he finished his book he made me promise to help him publish it. I have not been able to deal with my promise to him for a long time. I was finally able to read his manuscript a few months ago, and I think it would be of interest and could sell. It is an non-fiction manuscript. My question to you is can or will an agent represent me in my endevor, since I am not the author, and if so, what kind of agent should I be looking for? In your Guide to Literary Agents, a lot of them state that they accept only referrals.
If you cannot help, perhaps you can recommend a path for me to follow in order to move forward with this project.

    Thanking you in advance,

    Francesca Gambula

  6. Hi Chuck,

I wanted to take a moment and thank you and compliment you for your recent presentation at the writers workshop in French Lick, IN. I have already sent a thank you note to Carol complimenting her on the outstanding talent that she secured (especially in such a short period of time).

To fully express how much I am impressed with you, please allow me to share one thing about me. I recently sold my own business (allowing me lots of time to write:)) for which I was responsible for organizing quarterly sales seminars for twenty years. Obviously I’ve facilitated literally hundreds of public speakers over the past two decades. It is with this knowledge and experience that I make the following comments.

YOU ARE ONE IN A MILLION! The combination of your knowledge, sequential thinking and your dynamic public speaking skills put you at the top of your game. I not only learned so much from you (as I begin stage three of my life at age 45) but I was entertained and mesmerized by your ability (to be blunt).

One more thing (I’m a little chatty today and I do love writing)…I used to date a neuro-psychologist who was just blown away by my sequential thinking and attention to detail. He used to teasingly call me a little OCD but he he always followed it up with, “Just remember it’s the truly sequential and organized thinker who rules the world…that’s why you’ve been so successful in business AND life.”

Chuck, I think you are on your way to major success and I’m quite impressed with where you are already. Be sure that I will continue to search out where your next speaking engagements will be as I want to continue to learn from you. Again, thank you.

    Sincerely with warm regards,

    Cindy Dutton
